Photo Camp Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket and submitting payment to Photo Camp, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which serve to protect both the event organizers and attendees. Please read carefully.

Payment & Registration

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot at Photo Camp.

  • After your deposit is submitted, you will receive an email within 72 hours to complete your registration through HoneyBook. This will include:

    • A legally binding contract

    • The option to select a payment plan for the remaining balance

  • Your attendance is not confirmed until both the deposit is paid and the contract is signed.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the start of camp (the date will be listed in your contract). Failure to complete payment will result in cancellation of your ticket without refund.

Confirmation of Registration

By submitting the 25% deposit for Photo Camp, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your registration is not considered complete until the signed contract has been received.

  • The deposit you pay is for reserving your spot, but it does not guarantee your attendance unless the contract is signed and the full payment is made.

  • Failure to sign the contract within 72 hours of receiving the contract will result in automatic cancellation of your registration, and the deposit will be forfeited.

  • Once the contract is signed, your payment becomes legally binding, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, except as provided by the Force Majeure clause.

What Happens After Payment

  1. Deposit: You will be charged a 25% deposit immediately upon reserving your spot, which is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  2. Contract Signing: After your deposit is paid, you will receive a contract via HoneyBook to complete your registration. The contract must be signed within 72 hours for your participation to be confirmed.

  3. No Contract = No Registration: If you fail to sign the contract, you will forfeit your deposit, and your registration will be canceled.

Refund & Transfer Policy

  • All deposits and ticket payments are non-refundable, no exceptions.

  • Tickets may be transferred to another photographer only with prior written approval from Alex Blake Photography LLC. Transfers are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Ticket buyer assumes all responsibility of finding a potential replacement.

  • Refunds will not be issued due to personal scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or changes in your availability.

Organizer Discretion

Photo Camp is designed to cultivate a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment. To maintain this, the organizer reserves the right to decline a registration if it is determined that an attendee may not be a good fit for the experience.

In such rare cases, any payment made will be refunded in full, and the registrant will be notified in writing. This is to uphold the values of creativity, community, and coaching at the heart of Photo Camp.

Participation Expectations

  • All attendees are expected to participate with kindness, professionalism, and a spirit of collaboration.

  • Disruptive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior toward fellow attendees, organizers, models, or speakers may result in removal from the event without refund.

  • By purchasing a ticket, you agree to adhere to all camp guidelines, safety protocols, and respectful conduct throughout the experience.

Liability Waiver

By attending Photo Camp, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Alex Blake Photography LLC, its team, and camp partners are not responsible or liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or theft that may occur before, during, or after the event.

  • You understand that Photo Camp includes outdoor activities, walking, and the use of photography equipment in natural environments. You participate at your own risk.

  • You are responsible for your own transportation, equipment, and personal well-being throughout the event.

Media Release

By attending Photo Camp, you grant Alex Blake Photography LLC and its representatives the right to photograph, film, or record you during the event. These recordings may be used for promotional materials including but not limited to:

  • Websites

  • Social media

  • Advertising

  • Future event marketing

By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the use of your likeness for these purposes.

Force Majeure

In the event that Photo Camp must be canceled, rescheduled, or significantly altered due to circumstances beyond our control — such as severe weather, illness, natural disasters, government mandates, or venue-related issues — Alex Blake Photography LLC will communicate updates as quickly as possible.

  • While we will make every effort to reschedule or adapt the event, refunds are not guaranteed in force majeure situations.

  • You agree to hold harmless Alex Blake Photography LLC for any losses or expenses incurred due to such uncontrollable circumstances.

Communication

  • All official event communication will be sent to the email provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure that email address is correct and that you check it regularly for updates, packing lists, schedules, and additional details.

  • If your email address changes after registering, it is your responsibility to notify the organizer.

Agreement

By submitting your deposit and purchasing a ticket, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.

  • You agree to the payment structure and all event policies.

  • You release Alex Blake Photography LLC from liability and agree to attend at your own risk.

  • You understand your ticket is non-refundable and subject to the terms above.

Your ticket and deposit are non-refundable.
