Photo Camp Terms & Conditions
Event: Photo Camp 2027

Location: St. Christopher’s Camp and Conference Center, Seabrook Island, South Carolina

By purchasing a Photo Camp registration and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms serve as the Participant Agreement governing your registration and participation in Photo Camp. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
Registration Options
Photo Camp offers two registration options:
Overnight Camper — $999
Overnight Camper registration provides access to the full Photo Camp experience from May 27–29, 2027, including shared on-site accommodations for two nights and the programming included with the Overnight Camper registration.
Day Pass — $799
Day Pass registration provides access to Photo Camp programming on May 28, 2027 only.
Day Pass Participants do not receive overnight accommodations and may not access Photo Camp lodging or programming outside of the designated Day Pass schedule unless otherwise specifically authorized by Alex Blake Photography LLC.
Specific Day Pass arrival and departure times will be communicated prior to Photo Camp.
Payment & Registration
The standard registration prices are:
Overnight Camper: $999
Day Pass: $799
A Participant's final registration price may be reduced by an applicable discount, credit, promotional rate, or other pricing specifically offered at the time of purchase.
At checkout, you may have the option to pay in full or select an available payment plan.
If you select a payment plan, a $249.75 non-refundable registration payment is due at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
Regardless of whether you purchase an Overnight Camper or Day Pass registration, pay in full or select a payment plan, or receive a discount, promotional rate, or credit, $249.75 of every Photo Camp registration is non-refundable from the time of purchase.
Any discount, credit, or promotional pricing reduces the remaining balance due after the $249.75 non-refundable registration payment unless otherwise specifically stated in the terms of that promotion.
Your registration is considered confirmed once your initial required payment has been successfully processed and you have agreed to these Terms & Conditions during checkout.
Photo Camp has limited capacity. Your purchase reserves a spot that may otherwise have been sold to another attendee, and Alex Blake Photography LLC makes financial commitments and event-planning decisions based on confirmed registrations.
Payment Plans
When offered, payment plans are provided as a convenience and allow you to pay your total registration price in installments.
A payment plan is not a month-to-month registration or subscription.
By selecting a payment plan:
You agree to the total registration price and payment schedule presented at checkout.
You authorize the payment method provided at checkout to be automatically charged according to that schedule.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method and ensuring scheduled payments can be successfully processed.
Canceling your attendance does not automatically eliminate your payment responsibility. The amount you remain responsible for will be determined by the Cancellation & Refund Policy below.
Removing a payment method, replacing or canceling a payment card, disputing or stopping an automatic payment, or otherwise preventing a scheduled charge does not constitute cancellation of your registration and does not eliminate any amount already owed under these Terms.
Failed or missed payments may result in cancellation of your registration and release of your spot as described below.
Failed or Past-Due Payments
If a scheduled payment fails, you are responsible for updating your payment information and bringing your account current.
If a past-due payment is not successfully resolved within 14 days of the original payment due date, Alex Blake Photography LLC reserves the right to cancel your registration and release your spot to another attendee.
Cancellation of your registration because of a failed or past-due payment does not waive any amount you are already responsible for under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Any unpaid amount for which you are responsible under these Terms will remain an outstanding balance owed to Alex Blake Photography LLC.
Removal of a payment method, expiration or replacement of a payment card, a declined or failed payment, or cancellation of an automatic payment schedule does not eliminate an outstanding balance.
You agree to maintain a valid payment method for scheduled payments and promptly update your payment information when necessary.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. At the same time, Photo Camp is a limited-capacity event, and Alex Blake Photography LLC makes financial commitments for accommodations, venue expenses, vendors, models, speakers, leaders, supplies, meals, and other event expenses based on registrations.
For that reason, the following cancellation policy applies to both Overnight Camper and Day Pass registrations, including registrations purchased with discounts, credits, or promotional pricing.
120 Days or More Before Your Photo Camp Date
The first $249.75 paid toward your registration is non-refundable.
Any amount paid above $249.75 will be refunded, and any remaining scheduled payments will be canceled.
60–119 Days Before Your Photo Camp Date
You are responsible for 50% of your final registration price after applicable discounts or credits, or $249.75, whichever is greater.
For a full-price registration, this equals:
Overnight Camper: $499.50
Day Pass: $399.50
If you have paid more than the applicable non-refundable amount, the excess will be refunded.
If you have paid less than the applicable amount at the time of cancellation, the unpaid difference remains an outstanding balance owed to Alex Blake Photography LLC.
Less Than 60 Days Before Your Photo Camp Date
100% of your final registration price is non-refundable and remains due.
For a full-price registration, this equals:
Overnight Camper: $999
Day Pass: $799
If you selected a payment plan, any unpaid portion of your registration remains your responsibility according to the payment schedule associated with your registration.
Cancellation of your attendance does not cancel or forgive this outstanding balance.
2027 Cancellation Dates
Because the Overnight Camper experience begins May 27 and the Day Pass takes place May 28, the applicable cancellation dates differ by one day.
Overnight Camper — May 27–29, 2027
Cancellation received on or before January 27, 2027: the first $249.75 is non-refundable.
Cancellation received January 28 through March 28, 2027: 50% of your final registration price is non-refundable and remains due, or $249.75, whichever is greater.
Cancellation received March 29, 2027 or later: 100% of your final registration price is non-refundable and remains due.
Day Pass — May 28, 2027
Cancellation received on or before January 28, 2027: the first $249.75 is non-refundable.
Cancellation received January 29 through March 29, 2027: 50% of your final registration price is non-refundable and remains due, or $249.75, whichever is greater.
Cancellation received March 30, 2027 or later: 100% of your final registration price is non-refundable and remains due.
Cancellation is effective on the date written notice is received by Alex Blake Photography LLC.
Cancellation requests must be submitted to photocampevents@gmail.com or alexblakeotto@gmail.com.
Refunds or credits will not be provided outside of this policy due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, financial circumstances, travel disruptions, transportation issues, changes in availability, or other circumstances preventing a Participant from attending.
Late Arrival, Early Departure & Missed Activities
No refunds, partial refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments will be provided for:
Late arrival
Early departure
Missed shoots
Missed educational sessions
Missed meals
Missed activities
Choosing not to participate in any portion of Photo Camp
Participants are responsible for making use of the experiences included with their selected registration.
Day Pass Participants are responsible for arriving and departing within the designated Day Pass schedule. Missing any portion of the May 28 programming does not entitle a Participant to a partial refund or credit.
Registration Transfers
If you can no longer attend Photo Camp, you may request permission to transfer your registration to another eligible attendee.
All transfers require prior written approval from Alex Blake Photography LLC.
Transfers are not guaranteed.
The original Participant is responsible for finding a replacement. Alex Blake Photography LLC is not responsible for filling or reselling your spot.
The replacement Participant must agree to the current Photo Camp Terms & Conditions and provide all registration information requested by the Organizer.
A transfer is not complete until it has been approved in writing and all required registration and payment requirements have been completed.
Until a transfer is officially completed, the original Participant remains responsible for the registration and any applicable payment obligations.
If an approved replacement Participant assumes the registration and completes the required payment, Alex Blake Photography LLC may release the original Participant from remaining payment obligations associated with that registration.
Any private payment arrangement between the original Participant and replacement Participant is the responsibility of those individuals unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Alex Blake Photography LLC.
An Overnight Camper registration may not be converted to a Day Pass, or a Day Pass converted to an Overnight Camper registration, without prior written approval from Alex Blake Photography LLC. Any approved change is subject to availability, applicable pricing, and any additional payment required.
Discounts, Credits & Promotional Pricing
Discounts, credits, promotional pricing, and special registration offers are subject to the specific terms provided with that offer.
Unless otherwise stated:
Discounts and credits have no cash value.
Discounts and credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Discounts and credits cannot be applied retroactively.
Discounts and credits may not be combined with other promotions unless specifically permitted.
Discounts, credits, and promotional pricing do not reduce the $249.75 non-refundable registration payment required at registration.
Unless otherwise specifically stated, any discount or credit is applied to the remaining balance after the $249.75 non-refundable registration payment.
Returning Camper Credit
Eligible returning Photo Camp campers may receive a $150 Returning Camper Credit when registering during the designated returning-camper registration period.
The Returning Camper Credit:
Is available only to eligible previous Photo Camp attendees.
Must be used within the registration period specified with the offer.
Has no cash value.
Is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Does not reduce the required $249.75 non-refundable registration payment.
Is applied toward the remaining registration balance after the $249.75 registration payment.
Cannot be applied to a future event if the Participant cancels their registration.
May not be combined with other promotions, discounts, or credits unless expressly permitted by Alex Blake Photography LLC.
For purposes of calculating cancellation obligations, the Participant's final registration price after applicable discounts or credits will be used, subject to the minimum non-refundable amount of $249.75 described above.
What Your Registration Includes
Your Photo Camp registration includes the experiences and amenities described on the applicable registration page at the time of purchase.
Overnight Camper Registration
Overnight Camper registration is expected to include:
Access to Photo Camp programming from May 27–29, 2027
Two nights of on-site shared cabin accommodations
Meals provided during the event as communicated by the Organizer
Styled photography opportunities
Guided photography opportunities
Educational and/or coaching experiences
Photo Camp activities and community experiences
Day Pass Registration
Day Pass registration is expected to include:
Access to designated Photo Camp programming on May 28, 2027 only
Styled photography opportunities scheduled during the Day Pass period
Guided photography opportunities scheduled during the Day Pass period
Educational and/or coaching experiences scheduled during the Day Pass period
Meals specifically identified as included with the Day Pass registration
Photo Camp activities and community experiences scheduled during the Day Pass period
Day Pass registration does not include overnight accommodations.
Day Pass Participants are not entitled to programming, meals, lodging, shoots, activities, or other benefits scheduled exclusively for Overnight Campers outside of the Day Pass access period unless otherwise expressly stated by Alex Blake Photography LLC.
Specific schedules, shoots, models, speakers, leaders, meals, activities, and educational content may change.
Alex Blake Photography LLC reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions or modifications to speakers, shoot leaders, models, shooting locations, schedules, meals, activities, educational content, and other event elements when necessary.
Reasonable changes to programming do not constitute cancellation of Photo Camp and do not entitle a Participant to a refund.
Accommodations
Overnight Camper registration includes shared, camp-style accommodations at St. Christopher’s Camp and Conference Center.
Overnight Participants acknowledge and agree that:
Accommodations are shared and communal.
Cabins include bunk beds.
Cabin and roommate assignments are determined by the Organizer.
Specific cabins, rooms, beds, bunks, or roommate requests are not guaranteed.
Participants are expected to respect shared spaces and the property of other Participants and the venue.
Participants are responsible for reviewing the provided packing information and bringing necessary personal items.
Day Pass registration does not include lodging or access to overnight accommodations.
Day Pass Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own accommodations if they choose to stay in the Seabrook Island or Charleston area before or after their Day Pass.
Participants should communicate dietary, accessibility, or accommodation requests by any deadlines provided by the Organizer. Alex Blake Photography LLC will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee that every request can be fulfilled.
Arrival & Departure
Overnight Camper: Photo Camp begins on May 27, 2027 and concludes on May 29, 2027.
Day Pass: Day Pass access is limited to May 28, 2027 during the designated Day Pass hours.
Specific check-in, arrival, departure, and schedule information will be communicated to registered Participants prior to Photo Camp.
Participants are responsible for arriving and departing according to the schedule applicable to their registration type and arranging their own transportation unless otherwise expressly stated.
Transportation & Travel
Unless specifically stated otherwise, transportation to, from, and during Photo Camp is not included with registration.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation, airfare, rental vehicles, fuel, additional lodging, and other travel-related expenses.
Alex Blake Photography LLC is not responsible for missed or delayed flights, transportation problems, vehicle issues, weather-related travel disruptions, or other circumstances affecting a Participant's ability to arrive at or attend Photo Camp.
Participants are encouraged to consider travel insurance if they wish to protect eligible registration or travel expenses from unexpected circumstances covered by their selected policy.
Participant Expectations & Conduct
Photo Camp is designed to provide a safe, welcoming, collaborative, and encouraging environment.
Participants agree to:
Treat fellow Participants, models, speakers, leaders, venue staff, vendors, and organizers with kindness, professionalism, and respect.
Follow reasonable instructions from Alex Blake Photography LLC and venue staff.
Follow venue rules, safety guidelines, and event policies.
Respect the property, privacy, equipment, and personal boundaries of others.
Behave appropriately during all Photo Camp activities.
Alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted at Photo Camp.
Harassment, threatening behavior, discrimination, unsafe conduct, illegal activity, or seriously disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from Photo Camp.
A Participant removed because of their conduct or violation of these Terms will not receive a refund or credit and remains responsible for applicable payment obligations.
Participants may also be held responsible for damage they intentionally or negligently cause to venue property or property belonging to the Organizer, vendors, models, speakers, leaders, or other Participants.
No Guests
Photo Camp activities, lodging, meals, shoots, and programming are limited to registered Participants and authorized Photo Camp staff, speakers, leaders, models, vendors, and guests of the Organizer.
Participants may not bring spouses, partners, friends, children, clients, assistants, or other unregistered guests to Photo Camp activities or lodging without prior written permission from Alex Blake Photography LLC.
Unauthorized guests may be asked to leave.
Organizer Discretion
Alex Blake Photography LLC reserves the right to decline or cancel a registration when the Organizer reasonably determines that an individual's participation may create a safety concern, materially disrupt the event, or otherwise be incompatible with the operation of Photo Camp.
If Alex Blake Photography LLC cancels a Participant's registration before Photo Camp and through no misconduct, nonpayment, or violation of these Terms by the Participant, amounts paid toward the registration will be refunded.
This does not apply to cancellation or removal resulting from failure to pay, violation of these Terms, misconduct, or other breach by the Participant.
Models, Photography & Portfolio Use
Photo Camp includes styled photography opportunities designed to allow Participants to practice, create, learn, and build their portfolios.
Participants agree to:
Treat all models professionally and respectfully.
Follow instructions communicated by the Organizer, shoot leader, or model regarding the shoot.
Follow any model releases, image-use restrictions, posting requirements, embargoes, tagging requirements, or other usage guidelines communicated for a particular shoot.
Unless otherwise communicated for a specific shoot, photographs created by Participants are intended for the Participant's photography portfolio, website, and social media use.
Media Release
By attending Photo Camp, you acknowledge that photography, video, and other recording may occur throughout the event.
You grant Alex Blake Photography LLC and its authorized representatives permission to photograph, film, record, and use your likeness, voice, and participation for legitimate promotional, educational, advertising, and business purposes, including:
Websites
Social media
Email marketing
Advertising
Promotional materials
Educational materials
Future Photo Camp marketing
You understand that you will not receive additional compensation for such use.
Assumption of Risk & Liability
Photo Camp may include outdoor photography, walking, uneven terrain, weather exposure, transportation between locations, shared accommodations for Overnight Campers, and the use and transportation of photography equipment.
By participating, you acknowledge that these activities involve ordinary risks and voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alex Blake Photography LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, speakers, leaders, and agents will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property or photography equipment or for injuries or losses resulting from risks inherent in participation, except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived.
Participants are responsible for:
Their own personal health and well-being.
Determining whether they are able to safely participate.
Safeguarding cameras, lenses, computers, phones, luggage, and other personal belongings.
Maintaining any health, travel, equipment, or other insurance they consider appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived.
Emergency Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency involving a Participant, Alex Blake Photography LLC or a member of the Photo Camp team may contact emergency services and/or seek reasonable emergency medical assistance on the Participant's behalf when circumstances make doing so appropriate.
The Participant remains responsible for all medical, transportation, emergency-response, or other costs associated with their care.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate emergency-contact and relevant health or allergy information requested by the Organizer prior to Photo Camp.
Event Cancellation, Rescheduling & Force Majeure
Photo Camp may be affected by circumstances outside the reasonable control of Alex Blake Photography LLC, including severe weather, hurricanes, natural disasters, fire, illness affecting essential event personnel, government orders, public-health emergencies, venue closures, utility failures, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances that make Photo Camp impossible, unsafe, or impracticable to operate as planned.
In such circumstances, Alex Blake Photography LLC may reasonably:
Modify the schedule or programming.
Change locations or venues.
Postpone or reschedule Photo Camp.
Cancel the event if no reasonable alternative is available.
If Photo Camp is rescheduled, registration payments may be transferred to the rescheduled event. Refund availability, if any, will depend on the circumstances, amounts already committed or spent on non-refundable event expenses, and applicable law.
If Photo Camp must be canceled entirely, Alex Blake Photography LLC will make reasonable efforts to provide refunds from registration funds that remain recoverable after non-refundable event expenses and obligations have been accounted for, subject to applicable law.
Alex Blake Photography LLC is not responsible for reimbursing airfare, transportation, hotels, rental vehicles, lost income, equipment rentals, or other personal expenses incurred in connection with Photo Camp.
Communication
All official Photo Camp communication will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
Participants are responsible for:
Providing an accurate email address.
Regularly checking that email account for Photo Camp communication.
Reviewing schedules, packing information, forms, deadlines, and other materials sent by the Organizer.
Providing requested information by communicated deadlines.
Notifying Alex Blake Photography LLC if contact information changes.
Failure to read an email or event update does not invalidate information or deadlines reasonably communicated to registered Participants.
Governing Law & Venue
These Terms & Conditions and the Participant's registration shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by law, any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to Photo Camp, these Terms, or a Participant's registration shall be brought in an appropriate court located in Charleston County, South Carolina, and the Participant consents to that venue and jurisdiction.
Electronic Agreement
These Terms & Conditions serve as the Participant Agreement governing your Photo Camp registration. A separate contract is not required.
By affirmatively agreeing to these Terms during checkout and completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:
You have had the opportunity to review these Terms before purchasing.
You understand whether you are purchasing an Overnight Camper registration ($999) or a Day Pass registration ($799).
You understand that Day Pass registration provides access to Photo Camp on May 28, 2027 only and does not include overnight accommodations.
You have read and understand the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
You understand the financial commitment associated with paying in full or selecting a payment plan.
You understand that $249.75 of every Photo Camp registration is non-refundable from the time of purchase, even if a discount, credit, or promotional rate applies.
You understand that cancellation may result in an outstanding balance depending on when cancellation occurs.
You understand that removing or changing your payment method does not eliminate an outstanding payment obligation.
You authorize scheduled automatic payments when selecting a payment plan.
You understand and accept the risks associated with participating in Photo Camp.
You agree to follow Photo Camp conduct, safety, and participation requirements.
You consent to the Media Release described above.
You voluntarily agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Your electronic acceptance and completed purchase constitute your agreement to these Terms.
